THE NOTEBOOK DEVELOPMENT: - Describe Duke's character. How is he like? How does he behave? Has he got a good attitude? Duke is an old man who is in the same nursing home as Allie, Duke everyday cares for Allie because she has got Alzeheimer. Duke remmembers through a story of them both written by him, his life. Duke behaves very well with Allie trying to remember the past little by little so that she does not surprise her, she has good attitude despite the situation in which she is and knows how to bring the situations to a great extent. - What is the first thing they do in the morning, in the nursing home? Give medicines. -Describe the old lady Duke reads to. Allie is the star of the movie, before suffering Alzheimer's was a joyful fire who fought for her dreams. Now Allie is in a nursing home due to her illnes, injured can recognize Duke, but how memory fails she takes it as strange. -Describe the different spaces you can see of the nursing home. In the movie you can see different parts of the nursing home which are: The dining room, the garden, the rooms and the reception. -Where did Noah and Allie meet for the first time? Noah and Allie meet for the first time at the fair, the attraction of the wheel. - Where did Noah and Allie danced together for the first time? The first place where Allie and Noah danced was in the street. - Why didn't Allie's parents like Noah? The parents of Allie didn't like Noah to their daughter because they thought he was of a lower class then her dauchter and that he was not a good future for her. -Does the Doctor agree that Duke reads to the old lady? The Doctor thinks that if he does heal in Duke to help the Allie remember, but that he needs to do it so that his illness doesn't get worse. -Which sings of dementia can you see in the old lady? The sings of Alzheimer's that we can see in Allie are: that she doesn't remember her past with Noah, she is not kidnapped by Noah, she doesn't know that she has got children and she remembers everything but at the moment it is forgotten again. -Does Allie lose her emotional bound with his partner? No, Allie always feels identified in this story as if she had lived it butshe is not able to remember it.
